Feliz Navidad from Mexico!

Merry Christmas from Tulum Mexico

POsada de Navidad at ChalupaI must admit that being surrounded by palm trees & white sand beaches doesn’t really make me realize it’s  Christmas 🙂 But it is definitely celebrated around here! I participated to a “Posada de Navidad” at my friend Charlie‘s Bar, located upstairs of Chalupa’s hostel in Tulum. Everyone brought some handmade food and Charlie did for us a huge punch. Dj, music, party, great friends, great vibe and lots of fun!

I haven’t been writing that much in the past days, meaning some new adventures to share with you soon! Coming soon… I wanted to wish you all Merry Christmas, send you lot of love, and wish you to enjoy these times with your families and with the people you love 🙂

Accommodation in Tulum, Mexico

Welcome to Tulum!

Tulum beachYou MUST come down to Tulum. First, it’s one of the most beautiful white sand beach in the world (in the world, yess!!), plus Tulum beach hosts only small hotels & cabañas (no resort!!). Second, the vibe in the “pueblo” at night is awesome: You’ll always find some live bands of reggae, ska, salsa, rock or some great Djs playing. Tulum is still a village, with a family atmosphere. full of amazing people & places, and it’s quite alive couple nights out of the week. And third, it’s surrounded by pure natural wonders to explore: Cenotes, jungle, natural reserve, Mayans ruins…

My favorite accommodation in Tulum:

Chalupa's private hotel RoomIn town (The town is 4 km from the beach, a 6$ taxi ride): Chalupa hostel  – A double bed in a dorm is at 200 pesos (18$) for 1, or 250 pesos (22$) for 2, which is 11$/person, including breakfast!! Private room is at 500 pesos (45$) for 2, 5$ per extra person. The place is super cool, clean, it has a pool, a kitchen (strictly vegetarian!), all prices include breakfast, it’s well located because it’s in town, but on the beach road. Plus, the bar is run by my lovely friend Charlie 🙂
