Don Pedro is the owner of some rooms in a popular district of Managua, the capital of Nicaragua. During the night, he becomes a spy who looks into the secret life of his tenants. During the day, everybody comes back to a “normal” social life.
Through this very well done short movie, Freddy Arceda is pointing to this paradox of human life: the secret life we live alone and the public life we share with others. The movie also transports you to the decor of daily life in Managua.
Freddy Arceda and Melani Monterrey live and work in Managua in the field of communication and media and they are also active defenders of women rights in Nicaragua.
