In 2 days will start the Caribbean Culture Festival: A 100% FREE festival spread on 5 days in 10 different cities of Quintana Roo !!! Playa del Carmen, Cancun, Tulum and Cozumel are among the cities visited by the festival. With Colombia as the invited country, the Mexican-Caribbean culture is celebrated through outdoor movies, dance shows, music concerts, workshops, conferences, poetries, plays, and much more.

Moto ride and camping to Sian Ka’an Biosphere

I just arrived in Mexico. Playa del Carmen and the Riviera Maya surroundings are stunning, but so packed of tourists. We were in the mood for some empty beach & naked suntanning, so we ride down to Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve by moto.

It costs 25 pesos (2$) per person to get in, and you’re allowed to camp on the beach for free. There is a visitor center located 2.5 km down the entrance or you can opt for a local tours company to get around. If wild camping is not your thing, you can also rent a cabaña on the beach starting at 60$/night at Xamach Dos.

The road to the Biosphere is quite rough, so we choose to ride on the beach, here is the video from our excursion:
