“El Museo de la Revolución” is located within the old presidential palace of Batsita. His government fell down with the victory of Fidel Castro.
The museum tells the history of the revolutionary epic with its failed attempts, til the final victory.
Before Castro, Cuba was under the dictatorship of Batista, an American ally, till 1959.

Almost everywhere in Havana, there are those offices of the CDR (Committees for the Defense of the Revolution).

Like in every dictatorship or democracy in the world : the people have to be monitored everywhere. In democracies they do it through Facebook and all the other Big Brothers; whereas in dictatorships, they do it through the people in itself.
